Prior to purchasing the business, I was employed by Paul Morrison, the founder and president of Morrison's. I was Mr. Morrison's first employee in 1980. After working behind the counter, in stock and inventory, and as a delivery driver, I left Morrison's to join the Marine Corps. Upon completion of military service, I returned to Morrison's and later earned the position of assistant manager. Mr. Morrison's retirement in 1999 enabled me to purchase the business.
